Omaha Packing Plants Lured Many Blacks to Omaha

Continuing our series on Nebraska stories collected by the WPA, this month we look at a Mr. Arthur Goodlett of Omaha. Born in 1889 in Alabama he was one of many lured to Omaha by the promise of good wages in the packing industry. Goodlett was black and interviewed in 1938.
