Postcards from Iraq:
A Soldier's Eye View of the Reality of Battle

Shown here in the next few pages are 25 high resolution pictures taken by an American soldier in Iraq. These are not the sanitized pictures the present administration prefers you to see. That view is one made for television, brought into your homes by the "embedded" reporters, reporting on and filming what your government considers palatable for the American psyche. What follows is reality from the eyes of an American soldier on duty in Iraq. We warn readers that some of the pictures are explicit in showing casualties, but then, that is the reality of war. War is not a clean, tidy business and it certainly is not abstract.
